LoreVault Studio’s upcoming title, Woochi the Wayfarer, emerges as a solo action RPG rooted in Korean folklore, drawing inspiration from the classic novel The Tale of Jeon Woochi. Nexon Games, known for titles like The First Descendant, will publish the project, positioning it as a narrative-driven counterpart to games such as Black Myth: Wukong.

A cinematic reveal trailer, running over two minutes, highlights the game’s UE5-powered visuals but offers minimal clues about core mechanics. Platforms include PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, though launch timing remains unannounced.

Nexon Games CEO Park Yong-hyun emphasized the studio’s vision: “This project merges Korea’s rich storytelling with universal themes, crafted to engage global audiences. Our team aims to deliver a memorable journey that leverages Nexon’s technical expertise and creative legacy.”

The score features traditional Korean instrumentation under acclaimed composer Jung Jae-il, recognized for his work on Parasite and Squid Game, adding cultural authenticity to the experience.
