Square Enix and Tactic Studios have revealed that KILLER INN, their multiplayer deduction title, will hold an exclusive Closed Beta on Steam from Friday, July 25, 2025 (3 PM PDT) to Monday, July 28, 2025 (3 PM PDT). Participants can sign up through the Steam page.
This Beta focuses primarily on server stress-testing during peak player activity. Note that the trial version excludes tutorial content slated for the full release.
In KILLER INN, two factions clash: 16 “Prey” and 8 hidden “Hunters.” Hunters collaborate openly, while Prey must deduce allies from foes. Defeating opponents shrinks the enemy roster—wiping out the rival team secures victory. Hunters leave clues at crime scenes, which Prey must analyze to unmask them. Survival requires scavenging gear via quest rewards or purchasing items with in-game currency.
