In Deltarune, players can obtain equipment through three primary methods: purchasing, discovering, or crafting. Among early-game craftable items in Chapter Two is the Tension Bow, notable for its unique secondary effects. Crafting requires acquiring two specific components beforehand.
Tension Bow Mechanics Explained

This armor piece offers +2 DEF but shines through its bonus effect: landing near-misses on enemy projectiles grants 10% extra TP. This synergizes the benefits of its crafting materials while remaining sellable for 200 D$ if unwanted. (Note: The wearer must be targeted by attacks to activate TP gains. Functionally resembles the Silver Watch’s turn-time reduction from grazing.)
Crafting the Tension Bow

To craft this item, gather the B.Shot Bowtie (purchased from Swatch) and a Tension Bit (found in Cyber Field chests). Visit Malius at Castle Town’s Bakery during Chapter Two to combine them. The Tension Bit normally restores 32% TP when consumed, but here it becomes part of this strategic equipment.
