MindsEye Compares Xbox Series X and S Differences

Following its debut on Microsoft’s latest consoles, performance evaluations of MindsEye have surfaced. Fuzion Xbox Testing’s side-by-side analysis reveals key technical details between platforms.

Both Xbox models currently target 30 frames per second, though stability issues persist during intensive scenes. Visual fidelity varies significantly across devices:

Resolution metrics suggest the premium console delivers up to 1440p output, while its budget counterpart maxes at 1080p with potential internal rendering closer to 720p. These findings align with growing community discussions about optimization challenges.

“Thank you kindly to all of you who joined us as pioneers on day one! We understand that the current minimum spec requirements are very high, but our engineering team are working around the clock to improve performance on mainstream hardware as well as consoles by integrating the performance improvements in Unreal Engine V5.6. We will provide patch 3 update timing, including these improvements, within the next 24 hours. In addition to the main campaign, we would also value your thoughts on Build.Mindseye.”

A forthcoming update aims to address these concerns, with developers pledging continuous enhancements across all platforms in subsequent patches.
