The team behind Pokémon, Game Freak, unveiled their latest project titled Beast of Reincarnation during the recent Xbox Games Showcase.

Initially revealed in 2023 under the codename Project Bloom, the game emerged from a collaboration agreement with Private Division.

A new gameplay trailer previewed the 2025 multi-platform release for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC, which will also launch day one on Xbox and PC Game Pass.

Set in a devastated future Japan, the narrative follows protagonist Emma as she battles existential threats to preserve mankind against systemic corruption.

Gameplay footage highlights massive creature battles in third-person perspective alongside environmental traversal elements, presenting a striking fusion of ancient traditions and futuristic design.

Publishing duties fall to Fictions, a freshly established company formed by industry veterans.
